Findhorn Heritage Centre & Ice House
During your time in Findhorn take the opportunity to visit the Heritage Centre and Icehouse. The Icehouse has fascinating underground chambers built over 150 years ago to store ice for packing the salmon en route to London. Aspects of the local salmon fishing industry are displayed in these chambers. In the Centre, you will discover the secrets of the Sands of Findhorn Heritage where the story of Findhorn is told from prehistoric times to the present day.

Kinloss Country Golf Club
A very warm welcome awaits you on this exciting 18 hole parkland course with spectacular views across the Moray Firth to the north and the Cairngorms to the south. The course is very much a pay and play facility but booking is advised at weekends due to social and corporate outings which are very popular at our club.

The Moray Gig is a traditional sail training vessel based at Findhorn, Moray She is a replica of an 18th century captain's gig and the only boat of her type in Scotland. Trips are open to everyone over 12 with no upper age limit and take place 2-3 times a week from April to October.

Royal Findhorn Yacht Club
Royal Findhorn Yacht Club is located in Findhorn, overlooking the sheltered inshore waters of Findhorn Bay. With a fantastic view over Findhorn Bay and the Moray Firth, an outstanding sailing area and an enviable heritage. With organised and supervised racing for dinghies and occasional cruiser activities the Club offers sailing and racing every weekend from April though to October with additional mid-week events during the holiday season. Skills Development Coaching by experienced race coaches and sailors is provided from time to time. Members of the public are invited to take part in any club sailing event on a trial basis prior to making a decision to join. Short term holiday season memberships are also available. The club would, of course, be most happy to welcome you as members.
